The 2021 Hats of Luncheon
The Suite Dreams Project will be hosting our 20th annual luncheon which historically has funded 90% of our organization’s budget. Next year’s event will be held at The Townsend Hotel on Friday, May 9, 2021 from 11:00AM-2:00PM. The event will start with a reception, followed by a wonderful lunch and a short program.
The Third Annual Hat Crawl
We will be hosting our fifth annual Hat Crawl in 2022 where guests will enjoy wine tastings at two local restaurants.

The Suite Dreams Project hosted its first annual “Mats on the mound” yoga event. The mission of the project to provide healing spaces for children effected with serious medical conditions. It is our hope to spotlight the importance of health and well-being and helping children in our community by giving them a space to rest and recover. It will be open to all ages and at every level. All proceeds will benefit the Suite Dreams Project.
The event will be led by Stephanie Williams, E-RYT-200 of Raise The Vibe Yoga. As a teacher she will compassionately guide a safe, fun, and progressive session and will leave the field with a breath of freshness, stillness, and peace. Stefanie invites you to raise the vibe… within and without.

Mats on the Mound
Dine for a Cause
Dine for a Cause is a fundraiser of the General Sports Foundation dba the Suite Dreams Project. We are a Michigan 501c(3) non-profit and our organization has been around for over 19 years. The Suite Dreams Project co-founders Kris Appleby and Kay Ponicall came up with this new fundraiser idea called Dine for a Cause because they wanted this event to be “a want to, not a have to”. The concept is to go out to dinner once a month to a new location and experience a new local chefs cooking while donating to a wonderful cause. Half of the ticket price goes to the Suite Dreams Project meaning that we will be able to create more “suites of chronically ill children’s dreams” throughout the state of Michigan.
