Care House Family #2 Designer - Cheryl Nestro/Kid's Rooms

Suite Dreams partners with CARE House of Oakland County and while for privacy purposes we can not state the family name or show photo's of the recipients, the work that goes into these spaces is tremendous. Cheryl Nestro of Tutto Interiors and her team of Jen Blaylock, Rachel Gravelle and Aleah Bailey were all incredibly instrumental in making the two children's rooms in this home come together. Both children were elated with their new bedrooms and the warmth and functionality that they created. The Suite Dreams Project took on the design and decor of the rest of the home as every space was in need. Home Depot even got involved with the donation of two doorwall units as even those entry ways were in need of replacement and Grandview Companies orchestrated the analysis and installation..we thank owner Joseph Salome for his expertise. Jim Allen of Allen Construction spent months at the home in between his contracted jobs and he was completely amazing in all that he completed from painting, to all trim (of which the house had none), electrical, tiling of bathroom and kitchen backsplash, and installation of appliances. This project would have been at a loss without Jim and all of his donated time and talent! Lesly and Al Sallan of Millennium Cabinetry of Farmington Hills donated an entire new kitchen to this home! It was an absolute center piece for the entire project. Ann Sacks donated the backsplash tile. Dan from Builders custom flooring once again jumped right in to help with the donation of the carpeting. Dan has been with us on many projects and is always willing and we are so immensely grateful. Pine Tree Lighting of Lake Orion donated a new vanity for the bathroom and a beautiful shelving unit for the kitchen. Ethan Allen who has supported us in so many of our projects provided the majority of the furniture in the living room, family room, and dining room areas to make this home come together into a cozy retreat for the family. The kids commented as they walked in that they did not even recognize this as their home! Kay and Emma Ponicall organized the kitchen into a mom's dream. Dan Hayduk and his wife Heather took on laying all of the carpet and laminate flooring. Sargent Appliance of Rochester donated a new dishwasher and microwave. A long time patron of Suite Dreams, Terry Chapman, donated the kitchen table and chairs. Arhaus Outlet at Great Lakes Crossing gave us a great deal on kitchen barstools. It takes a village for sure and this project took months to complete as Covid played a large part in not being able to have all workers in the home at the same time, but we finally had the big reveal and it was a very emotional experience. We know the family loved what they came home to and pray that it makes a difference for them in different ways each and every time they come home! Shout out to the family's grandpa also who helped a great deal along the way. He is very skilled and handy and we were so appreciative of the time and effort he contributed!
