Healing Environments
Each year, we will bring more and more children to these unique, joyful, and comforting healing environments. We receive referrals for children from top pediatric hospitals in the country located in Michigan, which are C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, William Beaumont Hospital in Metro Detroit and Sparrow Hospital in East Lansing. We have strong partnerships with Make a Wish Foundation of Michigan and CARE House of Oakland County in the receiving of many of our recipients.

How It Works
An application process is administered through which extensive data gathering is completed, and interviewing is conducted with the child and the child’s family, as well as with the medical staff responsible for the child’s care. Children who are accepted by the Suite Dreams Project for the creation of a healing environment in their bedroom, and in some cases, other areas of their home, must demonstrate a true need for this healing environment both medically and economically.
