From the beginning, our mission has been simple:

To use our time for good, to teach our children by example, and to experience the joy of giving back.

For the past 25 years…

We have worked with designers, hospitals, and supporters to create personalized, healing spaces that meet the emotional, physical, and medical needs of each child.

Our founding committee members have been involved since day one, while others have come and gone as they’ve raised their own families. Each person who has given their time, talent, or resources has helped shape Suite Dreams into what it is today.

Locally Driven

Unlike large national charities, we are a small, locally driven foundation, fueled by the dedication of our volunteers, designers, and sponsors. We don’t do this work for recognition or financial gain—we do it because we believe in the power of community, kindness, and generosity.

Small But Mighty

At Suite Dreams, we believe that charity doesn’t have to be big to make a big impact. Our work comes from the heart, and that’s what makes it special.

Creating Spaces for Children in Need

Through the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to consistently provide bedroom makeovers for children who need a space of their own to heal and thrive. Each project is thoughtfully designed to bring peace, comfort, and joy to children facing medical hardships.

All In

Whether it’s through time, donations, manual labor, or a positive attitude, our team consists of amazing people ready to give what they can to make a difference in a child’s life.

What We Do

We don’t just decorate rooms—we create spaces where children can truly heal.

  • for children facing serious illnesses and medical conditions.

  • that are functional, safe, and comforting.

  • to fund and execute room makeovers.

  • during difficult times.

Who We Are

We are a public Michigan 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, fully funded by generous donors, community supporters, and corporate partners who believe in the power of giving back.

  • “This space has given us better days, fewer meltdowns, and more tools in our toolbox to care well for our son amid an incredibly difficult road. It’s brought great peace to our home and joy when so much joy has been taken.”
